Conceived and curated by Avital Asuleen for New York Theatre Barn, The Choreography Lab was created to elevate and expand the use of dance in musical theatre. It is the only curated choreography platform where choreographers and writers collaborate to develop movement for new musicals during incubation.

In the final lab of 2020, New Technologies/Endless Possibilities, Kristin, as one of two selected choreographers, will be paired with Jesse Sanchez and Jeff Chambers’ new musical SUEÑOS: Our American Musical, about three generations of a Mexican American family, and their pursuit of the American dream. Maria Torres (On Your Feet, Dance With Me) will serve as a choreographic mentor for the Lab, and the event will be hosted at Broadway Dance Center on YouTube Live on October 26th, 2020, at 8 PM.
