Kristin Yancy is a Dallas, TX native and a graduate from Washington University in St. Louis, where she graduated with Senior Honors, receiving her B.A. in Comparative Arts, Writing, and Communication Design. During her time in St. Louis, Kristin was a principal member of The Slaughter Project, under the artistic direction of Cecil Slaughter. She has since studied dance at the Joffrey Ballet School (NY), San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and the Movement Invention Project (NY), and has been honored to work with notables such as Sidra Bell, Ephrat Asherie, Theresa Howard, and Alex Ketley. Kristin has performed with OUI DANSE under the artistic direction of Brice Mousset, as well as with New York based choreographer Khalea London and her company, LAYERS. She has appeared in commercials for Ford Motor Company, VH1+, VERIA TV, and Target, as a part of their New York Fashion Week Production. Kristin is thrilled to be working currently as a member of the national touring cast of West Side Story.
